Discussion:
[Opera-linux] new windows are not full size (6.0tp1)

I get the register headlines sent to me via email. Clicking on them invokes
opera -remote openURL($url,new-window). For the first link I click on this
works as I would expect - I get a full size window. If I click on other
links without closing the first one, these are display in reduced size, as if
they were popups. To make matters worse the icon to put it to full size is
displayed black on black (if the window is current). Is this something I can
fix in the preferences or a bug?

Regards,

Chris

BTW the 'wrong tab displayed' problem for the above scenario, with opera 5.05
seems to work fine now.

I can not reproduce it. Can you exit opera, rename your opera5.ini (and
opera.ini if you have it. Opera will use opera.ini if present if it can not
find opera5.ini) and restart ? I would like to take a look at the ini
file if that solves the problem.

I have seen the back buttons when i SGI mode. The mode does not work
100% yet (wrong colors in edit fields is another problem)

That solves the black on black problem, but not the reduced window size. NB
it just seems to be the register that I can reproduce it with. Try these:

opera -remote openURL(http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/22354.html,new-window)
opera -remote openURL(http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/54/22374.html,new-window)
opera -remote openURL(http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/54/22366.html,new-window)

Ok, I can reproduce this. Will investigate.
